SpaceX Falcon 9 set to lift off predawn Thursday; viewing tips

After lighting up a dreary and cold St. Patrick's Day morning in Florida, SpaceX plans the next rocket launch before dawn Thursday.

The liftoff is set for no earlier than 6:35 a.m. March 19 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. If needed, SpaceX has until 10:35 a.m. to make the liftoff.

There will be no sonic booms heard in Brevard County, as the rocket's booster will return to the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.

Known as Starlink 10-33, the mission is the next batch of 29 Starlink internet satellites. As with earlier group 10 Starlink satellite missions, this launch also will fly on a northeast trajectory. Depending on timing, those north of Cape Canaveral could catch a glimpse of the Falcon 9 as it ascends into the sky.
